Training Structure

 

All FC Red Star NZ Academy training sessions are highly structured and planned in details.

The training objectives for each session are set around  long and medium term objectives, taking into account players’ developmental characteristics, their performance capacity and current physical and mental state.

The content of each session is clearly determined by the training objectives. The organisation, training and learning methods as well as the volume and intensity of chosen activities are planned to ensure:

  • Progression from a simple drill, through increasingly difficult exercises, to a complex technical/tactical exercise.
  • That the training session come as close as possible to the real match situations.
  • As many touches with the ball as possible.
